Meet Your Teacher
My name is Matt and I am the owner of DIY Retaining Wall. I am a licensed professional engineer with over nine years of experience designing retaining walls across the country for various state Departments of Transportation (DOT’s), railroads, municipalities, and heavy civil sites. I serve on committees with the Transportation Research Board (TRB). With TRB, I research projects for various infrastructure products and construction techniques related to retaining walls. I translated that experience into helping homeowners and contractors to design and build their retaining walls.
